Talking 2 year old red dun gelding

This is Doc my new guy let me know what you think! he is a registered american quarter horse he is around 14.1 1/2hh he comes home hopefully Tuesday!! He is cow bred he will be my new barrel prospect! He really needs a bath and to get rid of that hay belly! but he is a very willing colt and is definitely going to be a pleasure to work with! Take this like a grain of salt but he looks a little light on the back end. If you are going to be very competitive I would recommend a bigger back end. Just my POV. Others may disagree. Cute little horse though hope you have tonnes of fun!

Yes he does have a weak hind end. And is light on bone. Other then that, he'll be a nice horse once mature.

yes once i get him into the round pen and some lunging he will build that up

Agree with what others have said. He has weak hind quarter,yes you will get some more definition conditioning but he is not going to grow a bunch more muscle{have a nice bubble butt},just the genetics of it they have or they don't.Otherwise his overall looks is decent Fairly level topline for age Good slope to shoulder & how his neck ties in. Decent head & neck,kind eye.He has maturing to do but think is a cute gelding
