Talking 2 year old red dun gelding

This is Doc my new guy let me know what you think! He is a registered american quarter horse he is around 14.1 1/2hh he comes home hopefully Tuesday!! He is cow bred he will be my new barrel prospect! He really needs a bath and to get rid of that hay belly! But he is a very willing colt and is definitely going to be a pleasure to work with! If the pictures don't show up here is a link you can go to and you can view his album! http://cottoncandyhorse.deviantart.c...ding-407124035

    Yearling
Take this like a grain of salt but he looks a little light on the back end. If you are going to be very competitive I would recommend a bigger back end. Just my POV. Others may disagree. Cute little horse though hope you have tonnes of fun!

Yes he does have a weak hind end. And is light on bone. Other then that, he'll be a nice horse once mature.

Agree with what others have said. He has weak hind quarter, yes you will get some more definition conditioning but he is not going to grow a bunch more muscle{have a nice bubble butt},just the genetics of it they have or they don't.Otherwise his overall looks is decent Fairly level topline for age Good slope to shoulder & how his neck ties in. Decent head & neck, kind eye.He has maturing to do but think is a cute gelding
