Very cute boy you have.

Well he has a very nice long neck with a complimenting head with it.
His shoulders are a pretty big and is a little steep. Not sure if its just the way hes standing, but it also looks like his back legs are toed out.

Other than what I saw, he looks very cute! I'd like to see him when hes done growing and filling out. (:

My only concern would be if he has the necessary power in the rear end. His rump is adequate, although not huge, but I am not seeing much power in his biceps and flexors...

Still young has plenty of time to put some muscle on him. He is litterally turning three the beginning of next month so he has a little more growing and filling out to do. I think if he likes it he ought to make a decent first barrel horse for a young girl. Thanks guys for critique. I can't wait to ride him hopefully this weekend I can take him on a short trail ride. He's been ridden lightly but needs much more training. Going to brush up his ground work for a few days before I try to ride.

he looks sickle hocked and cow hocked.. he may not have enough power in his rear end to do barrells, you will need to monitor him, for his rear to muscle.

Barrels are way ahead of the game though I told his owner barrels are probably a next year thing. Going to put a solid foundation on him first. I'll take some leg pictures tomorrow.
