5 y/o Saddlebred mare. Confo critique.

This is my coming 5 year old Saddlebred mare, Maeve. While I know what some of her faults are, I am by no means a conformation expert. So any and all critiques are welcome! She is being used for general all-around riding. Nothing very competitive, started over small fences at the moment, and working on finishing her out, as she is still green. Dressage will be our next task to tackle.

Please forgive some of her awkward stances. "Standing square" is a challenge for a curious camera-loving mare.

Please take my critique with a pinch of salt, as I don't do gaited horse conformation!
    What I see is:
A looonnnnnggg back. It was the first thing I saw. She might be perfectly fine with that, but usually it inhibits them a bit.
She also looks pretty sickle hocked.
It might just be her stance (I really think it is) but the picture of her hind end makes her look very base wide.
    I also see long gaskins.

I do however, like her neck, and how it types into her wither, and she has good front legs. Her shoulder isn't the best, but I wouldn't be too concerned. I like her head, and she has a sweet face. :)

Your horse is really cute and deserves your taking the time to get quality photos of her, standing correctly, out in good light. You will then get better judgement on her. I think she may not actually be sickle hocked , or cowhocked, but she looks that way in those photos.

Thanks Tinyliny and CandyCanes. The farrier comes today, so while I'm out there again I will try to set her up nicely, outside in the sun.
