Another Appy?

So my neighbor has this horse for sale and I was thinking of buying him. I believe he is 10 year old barrel racer/western gelding. As far as conformation goes what do you think? Any thoughts would be appreciated :)

I like him a lot.

His back may be a touch long, and he is a little tied in behind the knee, but overall, he looks like a good, solid, useable horse. I really like the amount of bone he has.

Something looks weird with his right front, but I can't tell if it's just how he's standing. Do you have any other pics? He also appears to be on an incline in this picture. His back is long but that's about all I can tell without pictures of him squared and on flat ground.

I think it's a combo of how he's standing and the shadows. And what looks like an uneven trim job.

If you do get him, use a different farrier than the one your neighbors are using

nice thick sturdy legs, looks like a solid durable horse, would guess he had some arabian in him. Ride him like you stole him.

I doubt he has any arabian in him. He is very typey as an Appy. A good appy has that solid, "use me for everything" kind of look. This is a nice appy! If his mind is good, and I mean if he isn't overly hyped from barrel racing training, he should be a good horse. His back IS a bit long, though that's not unusual for an Appy.
I think his front right looks odd from the way he is just about to step off of it.

He's very much so an Appy. Lol. I like him quite a bit! He has wonderful bone and looks very usable. As long as he has a good temperament I'd say go for it!
