His hooves really need some attention. Those front ones are awful, very overdue for a trim. I wouldn't be doing anything with him until you get those hooves sorted out!

Personally, I'd buy him as a prospect. Aside from his feet he looks pretty well built and I usually look for the slightly cowhocked horses because I've noticed over the past years that I really started watching that they have more of a natural ability to get down lower than the ones with straight back legs. Just easier, doesn't mean they'll be better.

I'd definitely get his hooves sorted out before you do much of anything more than walking though, like Misty said.
While they correspond with his pastern angle, they're still far too long and I feel as though the reason his pasterns are so sloped is because of the longness of his toes and underrun heels.

I'm not a fan of those pasterns! They angle you want ideally is 45 degrees, I'd say those are definitely under that. Running/turning would probably put him at a high risk for injury there, IMO. Could be from the hood trim, or lack there of?

Ask your farrier if putting shoes would be the best for him. And at this stage if he has confo issues in his legs or feet you cannot "correct" them.
