    B&W Pinto confo & breed

Would love a critique on Oz. He's about 7 years old and 16hh. (He does need his hooves trimmed and his hock is wrapped due to a recent injury).

I've had people call him a "Warmblood paint" and others say he has lots of Thoroughbred in him. Thoughts?

He's standing funny here but he does toe out.

I'm not a good critiquer but I just wanted to say I think I own Oz's long lost cousin. LOL! If you'll look at my barn and click on Mojo, you'll see how similar they are. Mojo isn't registered but he's got thoroughbred in him. He's 16.1 and all legs. I'm 5'11" if that gives you any reference in the riding pics. When you ride him, his stride is huge just at a walk and he can run for hours. I always thought his stature as a pinto was a little unique. :) Interesting to see a similar one.

It's a little hard to see details as the photos don't seem to be in good focus. His shoulder has a nice angle and size to it. Back seems long. Nice hip. Pasterns a little bit long. A lot to like about this horse.

Withers, neck set, croup, feet and face scream TB. To guess the other part I'd love to see him move.
    Nice guy

Wow Mojo does look a lot like Oz! My trainer said Oz is a "very big mover," too!

Thank you! I will see if I can get someone to hold him for me and bring my "real" camera to take better confo pics.

I will get a video of him once he's healed up and back in training. My trainer (dressage rider) really loves his gaits. She said he's a nice mover.

Like this horse a lot. Nice set to his neck and shoulder and well placed knees and hocks. He is knock knee'd on his left fore (and I suspect his right as well). Lots of angles there in this photo that are eye brow raising.

He looks scopey. A little long and weak through the coupling (that will improves some if you are training him in dressage.. he will thicken through that area).
