Before & After - Opinions?

This is before, a year ago now when I originally wanted to try buying her. She is a year old in this picture.

This is current
[taken 5/26/12] and I personally believe there's a lot of improvement.

I know the first picture was a little "eh," but it's the best I could manage back then. However, I feel her legs have straightened out a lot, no longer cow-hocking. She's also getting good muscle in her hindquarters, and her shoulder appears to be forming well. I am wondering if you guys think she looks a touch under her weight quota. If so, I'd like to know what I could do to fatten her up without the risk of overdoing it.

Hard to tell through the shadow, but her weight looks ok to me. As far as general health...big difference! Good job!

She finally got wormed a couple weeks ago and it's made a difference all on it's own. She's got a tick infestation that's bugging me, but one step at a time, unfortunately. :/ The upside is that, over the weekend, she did two firsts. She took treats from my hand - something she has never done for anyone - and she sniffed my hand without pinning her ears. She even tapped my hand a couple of times and kept a perky look. Very exciting and a huge difference in her mood from just a week ago when she tried to nail me in the face with her hoof.

I'm so excited, I can't wait to see "before and after" pictures of her when she finally hits adulthood.

None of the horses really get worked, except the mule. It's all because they play and run up and down the hills. :)
