Well, I misread camped under as camped out obviously, but the same criteria come to bear nonetheless.

On your pregnancy question, if anything, a pregnant mare would tend to camp out more than her normal stance - not camp under. Additional weight behind the "blance point" on a horse, which is usually just behind the heart girth, would tend to move her stance backward to compensate...
