Chubby paint mare.

Sandy is a 9 year old reg. Paint mare. I'm showing her in western pleasure and halter this season, and for fun we do a little of everything. (jumping, barrels, trails, chasing the neighbors cows..) She foundered before I got her, and i'm working my booty of keeping her in a not obese weight. I swear she can sniff grass and get fat xD. I was wondering what you guys thought of her conformation? (sorry about the bad pictures, couldn't get her to stand square)

She doesn't look chubby to me, she appears to be in great flesh. A little more weight and she could be obese but she's just right IMO right now. I really wish you had better confo pics to go by but what I can tell from the pictures is that she has a nice wither to her, at least the type of whither I like to see. Its easier for her to hold a saddle. She has a very pretty color and I love how white she is! I like her stocky legs and long mane. She looks like an all arounder to me. :)

Please read this- How to Take a Good Conformation Photos

You really need to have decent conformation pictures in order to get a better idea of what her conformation is. These pics that you have up really are not good for judging conformation.

Do you have any pics of her when you got her? It would be good to show before and after pics :)

I sadly don't have any the first few weeks ( no camera at the time) but this is some time after a little under a month of owning her.
