Please critique my boys confo! He's 2 years old. Do you think he's long in the back?

He's got a decent shoulder on him
Neck set isnt bad, though it will need some muscle
Front legs look alright
Back is long and appears somewhat swayed
Hindquarters need muscle but otherwise are shaped nicely in my opinion
Back legs look ok. Maybe a tiny bit posty and his pasterns are long

In a word, yes,.
Long backed, weak coupled and poor hind legs that are both too straight and a bit sickle hocked. Good bone, nice shoulder, neck ties in OK, top photo he looks back at the knee but not in the lower photo.

Needs groceries and maturity.

I agree, his back does seem a bit long and perhaps dropped. Merely out of curiosity, has he been started under saddle at all?

He's been very lightly started. I've ridden him once bareback, today actually, but otherwise he's only ever had a light synthetic saddle on him.
