How would being back at the knee effect him in barrels? I'm not familiar with that flaw.

Maybe the horse market is different in Texas, but I'm raising suspicious eyebrows if the horse is a 2D barrel horse and can be roped off, and he's ONLY $2,000. I'd be suspicious he's having health issues for that price.

I honestly don't believe he's a 2D, but I do plan on having an extensive vet check anyway.

Check in particular for Navicular (and no I did not mean for that to rhyme).

^^This. Even in Texas, a horse that is patterned for barrels and can be roped off of is worth much more than $2000 unless they have some pretty serious behavioral or soundness issues going on.

So, either the seller is completely clueless (which does happen sometimes) or they are not being honest about what he is and what he can do.

I'm not a fan of his back and how downhill he looks. Something about him looks 'off' to me and that 2nd photo does not make me think 2D horse, as he is pretty wide to that barrel. Something sounds a bit fishy, but he still might be an ok horse for learning on if he vet checks ok.

I just love how the $$ seem to make a good or fast horse. Love it!
That horse, ya may wanna go check out. I see one that will run, but 2d, may be a stretch.
But... How much of that is rider? Hard to say.

See I didn't think he's 2D which is fine, I just want a horse with the potential, started on barrels or not. But thanks :)
