I know I've had her up here before and I just thought I would do this again since she has matured and filled out a bit more. Plus she isn't sporting her winter coat.
That's common in Arabians and I've been told it isn't so much that they are cow-hocked as that their entire leg rotates outward. Not sure how true that is, but just what I've been told (as a previous owner of two Arabians). :wink:
Actually, most horses are slightly cow hocked because it helps their hind feet not to step on their front feet. Slightly cow hocked is practical from a functional stand point.
I noticed she was noticeably cow hocked too. I just not sure it's as big a concern as sometimes people worry about it.
