    Critique my Anglo Arab :)

image.jpgThis is Michelob. He is an Anglo Arab. He is going to be 21 years old this Valentines day and I have owned him for 7 years. He was used for western pleasure and English equitation and when I got him I turned him into a barrel/pole horse and he absolutely loves his job! Let me know what you think about him. Let me know if you have any questions too. Thanks! First few pictures are the most recent from summer 2013, the others I posted for better view of legs from the summer before last.

Sorry I couldn't figure how to get more than one picture uploaded. I think it has something to do with me doing it from my phone.

Last one :) as you can tell this was taken with my nice camera rather than an iPhone like the others. One of my favorite hobbies is photography and he has quite the attitude so he makes it fun.

You will probably be asked to post better pics for confo critiquing, and I am not good at it, I just wanted to say he looks like a doll and looks great for 21, and I love his name!

Thanks! Ya I was afraid that my pictures wouldn't be good enough. I live in a very cold climate so he has a ridiculous winter coat right now so I couldn't get better pictures until May when he sheds out since you really can't see detail in confirmation when he has so much hair. :/ oh well I figured I would try. I'll wait till May and then get some good pictures and re post :)

There ya go. I never even think to get pics that are useful... and I hear you on the weather! We just had to sand a path then carefully hand walk our horses over to our front yard area, where they are going to live for a few days as almost all our property is currently sheets of ice, since it has been so warm to as massively melt the snow, then it sits and refreezes into sheets overnight. DH's gelding went down a few times trying to shuffle over it... he isn't as light footed as my mare, poor boy.. :(

I would be good with weather like that! At least it doesn't all melt and cause safety issues. For some reason we have had a few days of 30s, (even 40s and 50s yesterday! Wth!!) Coupled with sun, which has caused major ice-capades when it refreezes... wasn't something we realized needed to be planned for when we moved here a couple years ago.... so not much for us to do to help the horses! We only have one stall.. corrals are covered in 2i nches of ice from pasture melt yesterday... URGH! Lol No more warm weather till spring, just give us a good snow cover for the ice!
