Thank you for the suggestions. Currently I'm doing mostly dressage work and a little bit of jumping somewhere from 2'6 to 2'9 but hope to do some more eventing type stuff with him this summer.

I have a gelding that is over at the knee and the one thing the vet said was no jumping. They buckle at the knees easier and have a harder time landing the jump without falling down. Just a tid bit to keep in mind. Your boy may not be as bad as mine.

His legs concern me a bit.
Over at the knee as others have said but he is also VERY posty behind and his pasterns are pretty straight which is no good for jumping.
Personally I wouldn't be jumping this guy and I can't see him holding up well to any intensive over fences work - his legs may break down pretty quick.

Will someone put lines over top of the pictures to show me what you are talking about with the over at the knee and posty behind? I'm not sure I follow...
