For what its worth I think the title Flashy.. says it all. Lots of color but not much substance. I also know for a fact that you can get a good, well started horse for less than 2500 in New England.
Edit to add: these horses I know are not QH or flashy but they are solid horses. So you might have a different market for flashy horses.
