    Paso Broodmare Confo Critique

This is Tica. I believe she's about 12 and forgive the belly, she's due February 14th. She's a Paso Fino and in the 13 hand range, I have yet to measure her but she's quite a bit shorter than my 14.2 horse.

I got her already bred, and while I don't have a ton of experience with gaited horses, she looks very pretty when she moves and those little hooves hit the ground fast!

I'm just wondering how well she's put together. I'm used to quarters and paints, so she's the most refined little lady I've had.

I know nothing about Paso mares as we don't really have them in Australia but if I was looking at her I would say she looks quite sweet. I would like to see a little bit more length of rein in her neck and a bit more refined through her gullet. Ignoring the broodmare belly :p It could be the angle of the photo in combination with the belly but she looks a little short in the croup to me and I would like to see her tail set on a little higher.

All up tho, I bet she would scrub up quite nicely, good luck with your foal!

Thank you! She is my first Paso and I can't get over how little she is. She's also the most polite of any of the horses out here, despite her being the wicked witch as far as the other horses are concerned. :)
