Please critique 12yo OTTB mare

Hi! Please critique my now 12 year old 17h off track Thoroughbred mare, Trinity. Reg name is Finds More. Right now she is being trail ridden and shown western/english locally as well as some hunter paces and cross country schooling, hopeful to get into eventing but it's been hard as I live in a primarily western area.

Mix of old and new pictures, could not find any straight on from in front or behind. Will get some soon. Thanks!556492_578518454190_1725871585_n.jpg

I don't know much about conformation, but she sure is a pretty thing.

She's pretty. It's hard to tell due to her coloring and lighting of the pictures but in some of them I thought she was built slightly downhill but that could just be due to how large her withers are. I really like her butt region lol but that could just be me.

You'll have to wait to hear from others more qualified.

Thank you! And yeah her withers are a nightmare! It's been hard finding saddles that fit but I finally got a really good fitting American Saddlery endurance saddle and ok fitting English.

I also think her pasterns are shorter than desired and more upright?

She seems to be have small bones compared to her muscles. Probably has very large lungs do to her chest... good thing!

Very "laid back " shoulder. But, this is one nice mare!

I like her hip. She looks sickle hocked. Her back is a little long as is her coupling. She also looks to be a little fine boned. Everything else is nice.

Nice mare but she is sickle hocked and stands camped under behind. She has a decent topline tho the prominent withers will likely cause saddle fitting issues. Her shoulder lays back well though I wish her angle at point of shoulder was a little more open and the humerus did not lay quite as flat. She has a very nice rear end.. lots of muscling with a good tail set.

In front she is a bit back at the knee though she has good bone. Her neck sets correctly on her shoulder and ties in well both at the withers and at the chest.
