Hi everyone! I hope these pictures are good enough, if they're not could you tell me how I could take better ones? Thanks! This is my big, fat, Appendix gelding, Pie. I am aware that his feet need trimming, and that he is a lil on the chunky side. The farrier was out within the week I took these, plus they were really long when I got him so they're slowly getting better. I also see that his topline is weak, which I am trying to improve on.
The pics are decent...I just can't see anything in them because they're so small. :-/
He looks like he's standing on an uphill slant in the first two pics. He looks a bit pigeon breasted, but I like the way his neck ties in. His front legs are nice and straight, which is good. He's got a nice, deep heartgirth. Can't say anything about his hind legs, really, since he's so stretched. Almost looks like he might be a bit sickle-hocked, though. I like the angle of his croup. His front pasterns look a wee bit upright, but that may just be because of it hoof angle...it's really hard to tell 'cuz the pics are so small.
