Soo..I might decide to do the Ultimate X Showdown this year if I can find a nice horse to do it with and get myself some sort of plan for the freestyle event.
This guy's trainer is willing to let him go for half his asking price and Canter doesn't seem to have a "no-sale" contract. Granted, I may keep whatever I get as a lesson/guest/second show horse, but I want the option of being able to sell if I pay for a horse.
He's only 10-15mins from my house and about an hour away from my new barn.
He'll just be used for an all-around western (maybe english play days) ranch-type horse..and of course the Showdown if I get him, lol.
So, any opinions on his conformation? They say he's very calm, level headed, and not too worried about how fast he gets from Point A to Point B, lol.
He's bred identical to my mare up top and not sure on the dam's side (I don't know the names). His JC name is "One Vote".
