    Possible buy...Paint gelding

Found this guy a couple nights ago and I really like the looks of him and his description. He is a 10 year old registered paint gelding. I want to use him for occasional light jumping (no higher than 2ft) and for playing around with the barrel and pole pattern for fun shows during the summer...nothing competitive. He will just be used for pleasure riding. Is he worth a look?

Can you get any better pictures for us? Something where he isn't grazing and isn't in such awkward lighting? I'm not sure if it's the lighting but he looks like a big boy on short stubby legs.

His front legs look like they would fit on my #400 pony... Is he halter bred? Flashy guy though!

I agree he's flashy. Almost has a foundation look to him, I can't imagine him going over fences though. Or doing it well. His body screams halter.

The angle he is standing isn't helping the looks of his little legs...lol he is said to be 16-16.1hh. This is what she just sent me. His neck looks very thick and his legs very stout. She used him for pleasure. His registered name is Hold My Color Hostage, how does his pedigree look?

I would be a bit worried about insulin resistance with how cresty his neck is.

I think he is definitely worth a look!

His shoulder and pasterns are a bit upright, his feet look a bit small(although that may be a farrier thing, and his shoes look overdue for a reset, but the rest of him I like.
