Please critique what you can, I know these are not the best for conformation but it's all I got. He's a 5yo OTTB 16hh. I'm looking for a hunter/jumper prospect.

I believe he is broke to WTC but I'm awaiting some more info from the owner. He's kind of far away, so I would like to know if he looks worth looking at. I like him and my friends think he's cute, but I'm no good at conformation critique.

I'd want to do more than 3' eventually. He's at a good age to start jumping, if they haven't started him already.

I will probably send him off for training for a month when I get him, so green is not really an issue.

Really upright shoulder, neck could use some muscling, looks like a typical TB butt, and overall seems to be in decent condition. I can't really tell anything else from those pictures.

Depending on his price, he might do well for what you want. Just remember that with an upright shoulder, he's not going to be very comfortable to ride at the faster, lengthier gaits.

He appears to have a nice, soft eye and very kind expression.

But will he be able to lengthen his gaits? I have an upright mare at the moment who is quite short.

His shoulder will limit how far he can lengthen his strides. It just won't be physically possible for him to lengthen as much as a horse with a better angled shoulder.

He's got nice clean legs from the looks of it,
He needs to get some more muscling on his topline, but other than that, I'd say he looks fairly good. Except for the upright shoulder which the others described.
His head is nicely set on his neck, and he's got a good looking face.
I think he'd look super cute in the hunter ring with a little work.
All in all - he's a nice looking horse. Now it's up to you weather you'll buy him or not. :)

I'm about to post a horse in another thread that I have tried out and have known since he was born, but I just got a video of this guy and he seems pretty level-headed.

Here's the video I got of this TB:

Not sure if it will show, since its a facebook video.
