QH Mare Confirmation - Recent Purchase

Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to get some quick opinions on my new mare's confirmation. She's bred towards western pleasure, but has done mainly trail riding. I'm not planning on showing anytime soon, mainly just improving my all around western riding skills. She just turned 7 and is the bay in the photos.

She's a little out of condition right now because it's COLD. :)

Anyone else dying for spring?

If you could have photos that are straight on her side with her standing square it would help. From the photos of her that you have she looks to be downhill in the first one, but I can't tell if it is just the angle of the photo. Id say get some square photos of her and we'll be able to do a more accurate critique

She looks like a good representative of her breed. Probably a bit sickle hocked/camped under and shouler is a bit steep. Looks maybe a little tied in below the knee. The last picture shows a nice neck.. but the first picture, which does this horse NO favors, looks like a base wide neck that ties in low at the chest.

Love the muscles on her! Nice body for pleasure with her big rump and nice shoulders!

She nice. A little sickle hocked, but very nice lookin mare. Id show her off!
