This is my 10 year old Quarter Horse mare, Rose. She is about 15 hands tall (not sure exactly, I can find out though). She is due to have her feet done, but it will be a week or so before the farrier can get out to the house.

I bought her about a month ago, and she is really turning out to be a wonderful mare. She is gentle as a lamb and if she was any more 'dead broke', she would be literally dead! But that's what I need while I try to get back into the swing of things.

I plan on trail riding her, nothing too difficult, and maybe showing a bit in western pleasure in some of the county fairs in the area this summer, so nothing too strenuous.

I have been reading a lot of threads about conformation lately, and I have been trying to tell weather she was a good mare for riding, or if there was anything that might be bad that could make her lame in the future. See anything? Let me know! Thanks!!

These are some pictures I took after a short 30 minute ride a few days ago. Sorry her butt is so dirty, no amount of brushing could get that off! If you can, please read the descriptions with the pictures, I explain a few things in them. Thanks! Oh, and sorry for all the horsey poop! :-p

Here are a few body shots

Her right back leg in this picture is not really that crooked.
