Arrow Quarter Horse Mare

This is Freckles a 12 Y/O Quarter horse mare, 15.1hh
I was looking at her for a potential buy, I am planning on mostly w/t/c some jumping, but nothing huge or competitive.
I'd really appreciate opinions :)

Not a great angle for a critique... sure she's only 12? Looks like an oldie to me!
There's something about her I don't like, but like I said the angle isn't very good...

Do you have more pictures. She does not look healthy in that pic. Yes it looks like her back bone has no meat on it.

She looks old and weak, her back has no muscle or meat on it and she looks underweight.

Could her back be a result of muscle atrophy, or is it just a lack of muscle? Either way, you should probably look at something that looks healthier and has an actual topline to start with.

She Looks much older than 12. If she isn't , she needs rehabilitation (muscle, weight, etc..) before you can really get to work on her. Her back legs look very straight up and down. I'd pass.
