    What do you guys think?

I saw this horse on a for sale ad and was interested in going to check her out, but that doesn't look like a hay belly to me and her ad does not state that she is in foal. What are your opinions?

It's hard to tell with the photo, but something about her shoulder and front legs is bothering me! Perhaps someone else will see what I cannot pin point!

That's hardly enough photos to make any judgement on. I do not think she is pregnant, at least not from those photos. Actually, I think her build is not bad at all. With correct riding she would look better, but she is built just fine, IMO.

What about your friend who is selling the two horses? Would one of them work for you?

    Foal
Muppetgirl...I think its that her ribcage/midsection actually look a bit small for her body. Somehow, she looks a little disproportionate. In the top picture is where I think its really obvious!

Just quickly, and these are lousy conformation photos, she strikes me as an older broodmare. How old is she, and has she had babies, and if so, how many? Her shoulder appears *very* steep, but again....weird angle to take pics from.

She found them homes and neither of them were a good match for me.

    She is advertised as 5.

Ok, Looking again, I see a wee bit of a roach to her back, and I can see the line of muscle along the abdomin that is sometimes associated with breathing difficulties. What do you call that?
However, to me she doesn't look like a tired out brood mare, but rather an under developed horse with a slightly awkward build.

If you are a fairly new rider, I wonder if a 5 year old would be a good choice. Does she have a lot of training?
