He's a Quarter Horse ex racer, he just turned 6. He's been off the track 5 months. He is pushing 15.3 hands. His name is Straight Streakin. He has First Down Dash, Dash For Cash, Easy Jet, Rocket Wrangler, Go Galla Go, Jet Deck, Lena's Bar, and Rocket Bar on his sire's side. He has Streakin La Jolla, Streakin Six, Easy Six, Zevi, and Sir Winsalot on his dam's side. Those are just the real prominent ones that I know, he could have more that I've never looked around on! He was Louisiana bred.

Interesting about his sire.. Cryptorchid (I bet not both but o0nly one retained). SI 97 which is pretty good. Seems he did better in the breeding shed than on the track. Straight Talker Quarter Horse

Dam was not as good. Passable. SI 93. 2 wins, 2 2nds and 2 3rds at age 2..
Lota Streakin Quarter Horse

Would LOVE better photos of this horse and a discussion about the wraps on the front legs.

Hairline fracture in his right front. Most of these pictures were taken the morning after he was delivered. He's been checked by my vet and she said as long as everything goes good the next 2-3 months he should be sound for everything. At 3 months in stall rest he was no longer swelled, no heat, and he was walking without a limp. He's still not limping he just isn't leading off of that leg just yet.

His last race in November said he was bumped at the start and no factor....wonder if that was when he got hurt and finishing the race exacerbated the injury. Thank God he didn't breakdown, and good for you for giving him a good home AFTER racing!

What are your plans for him? He's got the lines to be barrel horse, that's for sure. I'd love to see a real confo shot of him. He's got a great hip, but looks a little long backed and weak loined. I wish you fun with him!

Now we need better photos. Years back I was looking at a son of Easily Smashed.. but it was not to be. I like the lines for the most part. Cannot wait to see proper pictures to critique him!
