Give me some pros and cons. Might go see him tomorrow if you think he's worth it. Keep in mind I'm looking for a project that I can use for ranch sorting, team penning, fun reining, gymkhana, and trail riding.
I like his over all look. Nice hip, short back, neck is proportionate and a pretty head. While he is only 3 and I'm sure he will fill out more but his legs looks small and thin compared to his body and while it may be the angle of the photos he looks a just a tad high hocked to me. I would get a really good look from the side when he is trotting and see if tracks out well and really stops with his butt. If he is high hocked in person I would steer clear as you could be looking at lameness issues down the road most wont stop and turn on their butts like other cow bred horses will. Penning, barrel racing and reining put a lot of stress on the legs due to hard stops and turns so you want something that's going to hold up.
He still looks like a 2 year old - lanky and tall, not yet filled out. Personally, I wouldn't ride this horse until at least 4 years old. Just my 2 cents.
Conformation wise, he appears to be slightly sickle hocked with upright pasterns - even worse in the back legs.
I really dislike his front legs. He appears tied in behind the knee and light of bone, upright pasterns, too. I'd like to see a front on view of his front legs.
