He seems like a pretty nice performance horse, though I'll never understand people who don't put a good conformation picture in their stud ads. One thing that bothers me is that he appears to be pigeon toed in some of those pictures. It may just be the picture and/or the way that he was standing, but I would want to know for sure before deciding to breed him. If he does toe in, I would walk away.
Does he compliment your mare well? He appears to have a slightly longer back; for the best chance of a good performance foal, I would want the mare to have a back that was shorter than his.
Are you going to have a chance to meet and see the stud being ridden (maybe even ride him yourself)? Personally, I wouldn't breed to any stud that I didn't meet and handle just so that I would know his temperament was satisfactory.
Beautiful markings and I love his build, however his confo isn't near flawless. He's got a good front end but is sickle-hocked in the hindlegs and long in the back. I also agree that he appears pigeon toed in some of the photos.
If you have a well-conformed mare who would cross well with himthen you might get a nice, solid foal. If your mare has similar faults, I would pass.
To me he is more than a tad butt high. I understand this is sometimes a good thing, but... He does look pigeon toed a bit. I love his color, but not liking his build. Just my opinion of course.
