REALLY poor conformation behind. Crooked legs.. that go beyond sickle hocks. Very upright hind pasterns (looks like she is walking on her hind toes) with a stiff coupling and an overly flat croup. Looks like and Arab Cross gone wrong...

I agree with Elana, but if he can move around easily(sharp turns and things like that) and he is fast, but can shut down quick, I don't see why you couldn't just try. Being that age, I would stick to more easy riding through the barrels though. he also has to listen to all of your aids and has to be able to go exactly where you position him. He might not win, but almost any horse can make a barrel pattern. There is no info about how this horse moves so there is almost no way to tell if he could be a good barrel horse.

If you are thinking of purchasing him for a barrel racing prospect. pass. He is not built at all for speed or "handiness" or tight turns.
If you already own him ad want to do a little not-too-serious playday gaming, he may do that . But I see more of a trail riding kind of horse here. His rear end is weakly built with steep stifles and very upright pasterns and his whole hind end does not match the front end. His his neck is heavy and short which will make it harder for him to bend easily.
