WTH is he doing?

I'm currently riding a horse that does the silliest thing in the cross-ties. I don't know if this is a conformation fault though, or just him being weird.

He stands with his front legs closer together than his back ones, especially around the time I do his hooves. It's noticeable, and sometimes exaggerated. I haven't seen him do it at any other time though.

He's a "racing QH", whatever that means, and is pretty young.

It could be him just being weird. The only other thought i have conformational is base narrow. I wouldn't be able to tell though without a picture. Do you have one?

Not at the moment, but I'll try to remember to take one.

He could be leaning on the cross ties, or be trying to find a comfortable stance if the crossties are over concrete.
