Hi same person with tafe assignment this is the grey filly. Just wanting to know if my critique if right or anything new I can learn will be greatly appreciated.

Head: Good proportion to body, large kind eyes shown. Forehead nice and wide, ears in good proportion. Muzzle a good size will allow for plenty of air flow. Lovely large kind brown eyes.
Neck Set: Is a good size and length, if compared to the length of its back. Neck line is nice and straight. Top line: Her withers and croup are level with each other. Shoulders and hip are in good proportion she is well put together.
Hind quarters: Rump is nicely rounded, dock of tail is lower than the coup.
Front Legs: straight and parallel to the shoulder, evenly spread, offside is slightly splayed. Hind Legs: Straight from the side and in line with the rump. They are clean and straight from the back however her off side is slightly splayed (may be due to position she is standing).
Feet: All four feet are correct and idea in size and shape.
Appearance and Balance: Over all this filly has a very balanced and mature looking appearance. With her only fault being her slightly splayed feet.

She has a very upright shoulder and she's sickle hocked - I really don't like her hind end much, especially her hind legs. She's a bit wasp-waisted. She has very long, weak pasterns, as well as short cannon bones and forearm. Her pastern angles don't match the angle of her shoulder, which will invite more wear and tear. Very short back, which I personally like.

Thanks he feed back just wondering what do you mean by sickle hocked or is it another term for cow hocked?
also im not quite certain on the term "wasp-waisted" could you expand on that a little bit.

Thankyou very much for your time :)

She is not cow hocked. She is sickle hocked (too much set to the hock.. rear of hind cannot not plumb from point of buttock and hind feet set forward of plumb). Upright shoulder and the base of her neck ties to her chest a bit low. She is sale fat and that can hide some things (and why they are fattened up for sale).
