    Asked and Answered

    Hi everyone,

There have been a few instances where members became frustrated when another member asked a question that had already been asked and answered in a different thread. Rather than share an answer, frustrated members made the OP feel bad for asking the question.

We'd like to remind members that not every member will have read every thread here, especially newer members. While ideally members would search for threads relevant to their question before asking it, that is often not the case. If a member asks a question that has already been thoroughly discussed in another thread and you do not wish to begin or participate in another discussion about it, please either provide links to the existing thread if you are able to or ignore the thread.

    Responses such as

    ugh, another one of these?
are not helpful, make members feel bad for asking questions, and are likely to make new members turn around and leave.

Thank you very much for helping to keep the Horse Forum helpful, friendly, and welcoming.
