Naw, keep it the way it is, Mike. I misunderstood the reasoning behind what you planned.

Hmmm I see it the other way around.

AB, I'll take some carrot snacks if they are up for grabs.

So I discovered that I don't have enough posts to make a shout out. I'll wait.

I was going to say hi to those who posted to a thread I started on chestnuts and sorrels. Is that the kind of thing you had in mind?

Also can anyone tell me what the carrot kitchen cookies et al is for? Is it for transfering carrots to other members, like a gift?

I'm sure this game is fun if I could just work it out lol

    Thanks

    Hi Day Mares,

The Carrot Kitchen is just for sending pictures of food to other members that they can't actually eat. Receiving something from the Carrot Kitchen can actually be quite frustrating; you'll be sitting there at your computer counting the minutes until you're allowed to eat next according to the latest crash diet you're trying, and all of a sudden you're confronted with a moist, rich, delicious looking piece of carrot cake. In recent studies, subjects have responded differently to such temptation. In a minority of cases, it was found that receiving something from the Carrot Kitchen, a piece of carrot cake in particular, had a tendency to induce in subjects a phenomenon now known as "Orange Rage". I would describe what this entails, but I'm afraid it's a bit too graphic for our standards here.

Speaking of standards, as for whether what you had in mind was proper for a shout out, pretty much anything is acceptable so long as it isn't advertising, isn't sexual in nature, doesn't use profanity, and doesn't antagonize anyone.

I believe there is a thread or two about the Carrot Game in the Using the Horse Forum forum.

Yes, you should still be able to see shout outs when a member has made a shout out. When there isn't one, you should see "Click here to add a shout out" instead.
