Too bad to hear, but I'm sure it's for the best!

Thanks to all of the retiring Moderators here. I don't know HOW you have had the time to do this, but I appreciate ALL of your efforts. What?!?--were you all laid up in bed recuperating, or something?!?!?
I barely have time to do my horse chores AND work, AND take care of everything and everybody.

Thanks for this thread Tiny, great idea :)
I'm still sad to have had to leave the mod team as you are all fabulous people to work with. Unfortunately far too many 'real world' commitments makes it impossible to continue as has been the case with so many of the other 'retired' mods.
Good luck to the new mods, you will enjoy it - even though it can sometimes make you want to beat your head on the keyboard and run around with your underwear on your head cursing... wait.... did I say that? :P It's good fun!!!

You mean that hat on my head is actually my underwear?!

Super Moderator
I wish we had thought of this a long time ago. Thanks Tiny for making it right.

We have had wonderful mods who have retired for many different reasons. I always hope that, someday, life will allow them to come back.

Have all retired during my tenure here. I'm sure I must have missed someone....

They were all wonderful people with greatly varied talents in the horse world. We all brought our knowledge, skills, and love for the forum together to help make this place the dream of the forum's ULTIMATE loss, in the form of our founder and administrator Mike, whose life demanded he divert his efforts elsewhere (for NOW!!).

Someday MY name will be on the list, but I am comforted by the fact that we have a wonderful group of people who will always be able to provide talented replacements as the forum marches on.

Cheers to the retirees......cheers to the newer Mods who will keep the torch lit!!
