Optimized layout

Hi everyone,

Because of the relatively large avatars we allow for and the additional stats we display such as members' number of horses, gender, carrot count, etc., there was often a lot of empty white space after the contents of a post before the next one. For example:

changeBefore.jpg

In an effort to reduce this empty space and the unnecessary scrolling it required to see additional posts, we have moved these stats beneath members' signatures where they are visible when you want to see them, but not distracting otherwise.

changeAfter.jpg

Members' linking member designations will now appear beside their usernames above their avatars.

We hope you like the changes as much as we do!

Is it possible to make the type bigger? I find it hard to read (and actually much preferred the other way)

^^ I am in agreement. ^^ Now everything just seems squished together. It's hard to read this way. Really liked it the other way better. The other way, it seemed to make sense. But this way, it just seems liked a bunch of jumbled information.

"Riding a horse is not a gentle hobby, to be picked up and laid down like a game of solitaire. It is a grand passion. It seizes a person whole and, once it has done so, he will have to accept that his life will be radically changed." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

I third QHDragon. I found those very helpful to read but now they're so tiny that I can't just glance at them to know the information I want, I have to contort my eyes strange ways to be able to read them at all.

It's a good idea, just the font is way too small.

I'm actually fine with it, and I wear bifocal contact lenses.

The print is small, but I don't find it hard to read at all.

I like the out come. I can read the small print if I really work at it.

What I am not sure I like is how it does not make much sense. Before it was obviously stats under a user name. Now it is like a poorly written sentence.
People's locations sound strange and their little status things are some what lost.

I wonder if a line or such between it and the body of the post and/or signature line would make it more clear?

Thank you for the post. I noticed this morning that things were different, it is good to know why.

I also kind of liked the extra space below each post, found it easier to separate one post from another.

I agree with (almost) everyone else, I liked the way it was before. It made more sense where it was at and much easier to read. I didn't mind the extra space either.

I like the new layout, but the text is really teensy. I can read it if I really try hard, but I'd rather not strain my eyes ;)
