OK, I found out how to do this and that's wonderful except as soon as there is a new post in that forum, it pops up again on my "new posts" screen. Is there anyway to mark a forum as permanently "read"?

I accidentally marked everything as read and wow! talk about clean up my "new posts" page. I love it! But I'll have to spend some time seeing what I've missed out on now... in all that free time I have LOL.

Yeah, I have discovered that as well. I will keep playing around and trying to find a way. If I do, I'll let you know.

Aaaah!! I just did the same thing as you NM and marked all threads as read:shock:.

I wonder if there would be some way to add a feature to either our control panel (be able to 'ignore' certain sections the way we can 'ignore' certain members) or the forum tools and add an 'ignore' feature to the tool menu along with mark as read and all those others.

Yay! I am glad I can now get rid of forums that I have no interest in. LOL, I actually clicked on quite a few - games, teen talk, natural horsemanship, horse artwork, art requests and more and more. :P

Thanks for making it simpler Mike, it grew tiring clicking on "Mark Forum Read" over and over everytime I came here.
