2 1/2 inches in 2 1/2 months!

I started braiding my mini horses tail about 3 months ago. Pic 1 is from July 24th and Pic 2 is from Oct. 13. Re-braiding once a week to every other week. It may be hard to tell but pic 1 only a few longer hairs touch the ground and pic 2 it's dragging 2 inches! (Summer 2012 it was hacked up to his hocks)

I plan to grow it as long as possible then hack it off and do something cool with it =)

Do you feed your horse any supplements that could also be causing this trail growth?

Nope just good quality hay and braiding it.
