blanket rubs

I got my boy a fly sheet that fits him well, the only thing is it is rubbing on his left shoulder cause he is getting a bald patch. I told my BO and she said I need to tighten the blanket more, but I thought that would just make it rub more but she said it will help. I thought if anything to loosen it. What do you guys think?

At this point I don't even want to put it on him anymore, Im not sure what to do.

Also I have been putting some stuff on it that my BO has, can't remember the name but can you guys suggest anything else I can put on the balding spot to make the hair grow back?

Mtg should work, its good stuff

These have worked well with my boys, on some of their rugs I even just tacked in satin patches on the shoulders so I don;t hve to put the bib on all the time.

Then make sure that your horse can move freely under the rug, if the rug is too tight it will put pressure on him and make the rug rub more.

A bib like Pinto Pony suggested will help will stop the rubbing, but I would probably just measure him and get one that fits properly so it is comfortable for him to wear.

MTG will help to grow his hair back, but not while the sheet is still rubbing him, so you'll have to fix that before his hair treatment.

Putting some MTG would work, tho I would be careful with the possibility of getting burns on larger open areas that are exposed to the sun. Also getting yourself a pair of jammies for him would help with preventing or decrease the rubs.
