Body Clipping Question

Hi! I am planning on geting my horse body clipped pretty soon (he's so fuzzy, it's starting to get warm and I hate shedding!) but have a quick question. My horse, Echo, lives in a pasture and is not blanketed. He is by no means thin, he could actually stand to lose a few pounds! I don't want to clip him and leave him shivering all night long, which brings me to my question: what temperature should it be before I clip him?

Thanks for any help!

I would blanket a clipped horse until it dipped no lower than 65F at night. In the daytime you could remove the blankets.
