HI! I hope there hasn't already been a thread on this....Anywho, I thought it might be nice to make a thread where everyone can post their favorite braids. so, just post a picture(preferably) along with a discription of how to do it or a link to a good youtube vid. Enjoy!
Well I saw a pic of this do and I tryed it without anyone teaching me on my sister & my friend and they thought it was funny and really awesome that I could do that. but I don't post people pics so I'll pot a horse pic sorry it's so big. TIP DON'T SPLIT THE FIRST AND LAST PONY. ok so put all of the hair in little ponies and then make the pony tip in half and make another pony, TIP again you WILL need ALOT of rubber bands
I love the running/french braid on horses. It's fun and easy to do once you know how, and it doesn't require as much time or bands. It's nice for those really hot summer days to keep your horse's neck a bit cooler (it's great for showing too!). Here's an awesome tutorial: Exhibitor Labs : French Braiding The Long Mane
Looking at all the braiding threads and questions posted makes me think advertising braiding lessons might be a good idea, I can do all of those styles and have taught two professional braiders so far, so maybe if anyone has ideas as to what they would like offered at a lesson I would love suggestions.
I have been doing the running braid on my guy but it never seems to last more than a day. I will def use it when trail riding because it is sort of quick & easy. But doesn't last on turn out.
here are some of mine, didnt get normal pics of them, should have they looked good
