hello
I have a clydesdale that im showing for riding
here is his mane what sort of braid should i do?
he is not that skinny anymore he is fat now.
Now my other proplem i have a very dirty pony im showing to see pic how do i get him clean with out him catching a cold i have no stables and he is my only horse not being rugged he is normaly white
I have the same problem!
I waited until the warmest part of the day to wash my gray last weekend before a show. Leave him in the sun with some water and hay and then when he was dry chucked a day rug on him.
If you have no rugs for him at all then put him in the cleanest paddock you have then get up early the day of the show and just do a spot cleaning with a sponge and a bucket of water and spend as long as you can giving him a full grooming.
Yep, I would do a sponge bath, or full bath during the warmest part of the day.
For the drafty if his mane is that long (or longer) just do a running braid, otherwise you will have to pull and do individual braids.
