I agree, they shouldn't affect scoring... but I also think judges shouldn't discriminate against apps or paints, as I know some hunter judges do. But it happens. (ah, the joys of showing hunters... :roll: ) This doesn't include breed brands, as those are usually something to be proud of! (and usually not too noticable) No, these brands are huge and poorly done (looks like they stuck it on him, and then smeared it a little). It's just not a pretty accent to a very pretty horse! I've also found that it's harder to sell a hunter with a big brands, which stinks because he's a sale horse. Oh well, he's beautiful, good tempered, and can jump the moon! And hey, maybe we'll sell him as a jumper?
