Hey ... so I browsed through this and utters where my first thought. But have you done the test with your vet to see if your worming schedule isn't doing it's job? Also I LOVE Vetroline Shine and Laser Sheen .. they will make the hair sleek and soft and hopefully harder to rub out.

Just a thought- the hand sanitizer will sting if there are any open cuts when you put it on, so I would avoid that if you can.

Lastly use Infusium 23 Shampoo and Conditioner- it works wonders and smells good. I buy it in the people section at Walmart or Target.

Thanks, kchfuller!!

As for the hand sanitizer, it was only used AFTER her scratches healed. I will definitely look into the shampoo you suggested. =)

My vet told me to use this on a gelding with the same kinda flake-y, dry skin problem. After a few days, it starts to get better.
