I believe, but I'm not sure, that baby shampoo is alright. :)
If someone wants to correct me on that, go ahead ;)

Human shampoo works fine and is not at all harmful to horses. I use Suave for Sugar. Her favorite scent is apple (go figure).

i use alot of baby shampoo, i find its makes them so soft! :P you could probably use a shampoo that is supposed to make greys more silver or shiny... that might help make her tail white..haha maybe even silver ;)

If there are no horses in heaven... im not going.

Sure One time I mixed a little Head and Shoulders in with some baby shampoo to wash my mare's dandruff-filled tail. Dried the hair a little at first, but I perfected the combination of shampoos and got it were it works great.

Yea I use mane n tail for my horses, and I even bought my own separate bottles of it and I use it! lol It makes my hair so soft, and my fiances' friend was like "That stuff will make your hair grow like no other." lol I hope it does cuz I want my hair longer.

I did try human shampoo, I think it was suave, but it made my mare's coat real dry, but it also made it real soft and clean lol.
