My horse has a roached mane and being a Clydesdale cross it is really thick! Its growing bushy! Can you pull a roached mane?!

Uh.. roached by definition has no hair. If there is hair you can pull it as long as it is long enough to physically be able to.

If it's roached and growing out into the mowhawk stage and you don't like it just cut it back again. I would use clippers for this though scissors would work too.

I'm guessing it's grown out a bit, but if you're still calling it roached I don't think 'pulling' would be the way I would go. I would think it would be too much of a hassle xD

You probably could pull it, but if his mane is anywhere as thick as my grade Arabian, that project would take months to complete, haha! I roached his mane once, and it was super thick and stood up for a long time, but I just let it grow out. Something you could do that might make it easier, would be to clip some away on either side, so just the mane in the center of his neck is there.

If you pull it ALL it will take time and the horse would probably be very unhappy and you will have a bald spot all down his neck. Which is why technically yes, but probably not a good idea.
