Color Enhancing Supplement

Hey guys, lately i've been thinking about buying coat color enhancement supplements for my horses cause the tend to fade out (and I like my horses to look pretty )


The one horse is dark bay almost black so I guess the black stuff will work for her. But my paint is sorrel/chestnut and white. About half and half. Should I get the sorrel kind or the white kind or should I just feed him both?

You can save some money and just feed them paprika. Lots of people use it on their horses. It is one of the main ingredients in color enhancing supplements.

Can't say nothing to these supplements. But good nutrition in general makes for a good color, alfalfa makes the color darker and richer.

Paprika like the stuff on deviled eggs? Wow how much?

I'm getting SmartPak's "Smart Dark and Handsome" for Rumor this year.

The only thing is I'll be showing them in a couple weeks so I can't use paprika. :/

Yep, I'm not sure how much exactly. I would just sprinkle some onto the feed. Maybe a tablespoon?

Then you won't want to get the coat enhancing supplements either unless they specifically say no paprika. Because most of them do have it, I think.

Would you eat something that made your skin or hair change color ? I sure wouldnt, wouldnt feed it to my horse either.
