Colored hair spray on horses

Does anyone know of any ill effects from using the colored spray in hair coloring on a horse's tail?

I was just going to go to the Halloween store and buy whatever they had in stock. Neon orange and neon blue are going to be the must haves but I might pick up another color or two depending on what they have.

You'd need horse body paint for that. The spray on stuff would run. I know TwinkleToes and probably another company has the paint - used it in a show before. I've heard you could use clear hair gel and glitter but I don't know how well it would stick.
