When I had platinum hair colour I had some of my own problems with the whitening shampoos for humans that left a purple colour to my hair for several days. Looked like an old lady blue rinser. Scary! Did not look good but thankfully it washed out -slowly as it so happened but did eventually look more normal once gone. I shall avoid the Mane and Tail product for my beloved Paint horse unless I want a funky red and grape coloured horse. Thanks!

A good hair lighter that is total organic = lemon juice. Cut a lemon in half drag the hair through let the sun bleach it, rinse out the lemon juice. No chemical residue.
They make stuff at walmart made of lemons for hair use it on my boy all the time!
