Enhacing color

Is there any way you can enhance the coat color of a horse? Internal or external?

What color is your horse? If its for shows I use QuicColor on bays, chestnuts etc. QuicBlack on my black mare and either White N' Brite or QuicSilver on greys and white markings. Although be warned when shampooing with the two designed for greys or white areas DO NOT leave the shampoo on for long or it will turn them purple.

He's a bay. And yes, it will be for shows. Are those products an internal supplement, or like a spray/shampoo?

Most of the horses coat and general well ring needs to come from good food, health and being kept well. Enough calories... A fat or coat supplement sometimes can help and then LOTS of currying to bring the oils up in the coat naturally. A color enhancing shampoo like quikcolor or gallop for your bay horse can help. Some people with bays will add paprika or supplement like Cheval's black as night or Horsetech's blackenall, but it cannot be goven
1 week before a horse show because the horse will test positive for capcasin(sp?).

I like to use "quick Black" on my THB Mare and "quick silver" on my Palomino though I have found it helps with the quick black if your Mounts Mane is truly Black other wise you have some of those red Highlights popping out . Quick silver is the bomb for blondes .
