Eqyss Rebuilder?

Anyone use Eqyss Rebuilder? On your horse? On yourself? Any comparisons to MTG?

You mean their Mega Tek product? I haven't tried it yet, but I have used their color enhancing shampoo (on my own hair hehe) and my hair seriously looked like I had just gotten hi-lites done, plus it made my hair super shiney.

I want to try the mega-tek, but it's almost $30 (big bottle though) so I'm going to see if my friend wants to split a bottle with me. I know it says it can increase hair growth by up to 50%. I also saw that it can make your dogs crusty paw pads look like like puppy paws again!

I guess you are supposed to use the Premier shampoo first (this is the shampoo I have) and then use the Mega-Tek.

I bet the Mega-Tek would be good for anyone who has a black or dark horse that gets the fried mane that turns reddish on the ends.

They don't have their own website up yet, unfortunately. And all the websites where they sell it like Dover or Smart Pak don't give much information about it. You can find it on Amazon too though, and people have given it great reviews, so you might want to check it out there and read others' reviews.

I have not tried the rebuilder, but I've been using the Micro Tek on my daughter's paint. He has a horrible tail itch and we've been trying to figure out what is causing it. In the mean time, we've been using Micro Tek and it helps stop the itch and his hair starts to grow back. If we stop, he starts itching again.

It is expensive, but you can buy a smaller bottle at some feed stores, and the large bottle last for quite a while. Right now I'm sharing it with the barn owner, we're using it daily on 2 horses and it's been over a month for a bottle and it's half gone. It can also be used on hot spots for dogs and other skin issues in them. My husband jokes that I should use it on my excema since it seems to work fine for the horse's itch. How sweet, huh? I haven't gotten brave enough to try it, but the literature I got when I got samples at a tack sale said that all the stuff can be used on humans safely.

I use the Megatek on my curlies and LOVE it! I also use it on myself. Makes my fingernails grow too.

I only put it on once a week. I don't work it through the hair, I just put it on the scalp. It's pricey but a bottle will last me 3-4 months with 6 horses.

The big benefit for me is that it does not burn or bother the horses at all. I burned Emmy with dermal aid. She likes the megatek so .....
